The 36"W x 24"D x 60"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The unit includes three adjustable shelves supported by heavy-duty 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability; these beams securely lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway. Each shelf is fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for environments such as healthcare and food service where cleanliness is crucial. The shelves adjust in 1" increments and support up to 800 lbs. per level when the weight is evenly distributed. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. The kit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and comes with a warranty covering terms as specified by the manufacturer.
