The 48"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and includes three adjustable shelves fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The heavy-duty frame features 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams at every level for added support and stability, with beams adjustable in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway, while providing an open design for four-sided access to stored items. The unit assembles easily without nuts, bolts, or clips and connects to a coordinating starter unit using a T-post configuration to create a continuous shelving system. The shelving supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, and meets industry requirements for cleanliness.
