The 48"W x 12"D x 48"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems with ease, connecting to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for continuous shelving across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items. The heavy-duty frame is built with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, which adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each of the three adjustable shelves includes DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when weight is evenly distributed and features pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
