The 36"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. This 3-shelf unit features a boltless design for easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, and includes double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability. The heavy-duty frame is made with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck non-porous decking, which wipes clean easily, making the unit ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The shelving supports up to 800 lbs. per level when weight is evenly distributed and allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. It can also be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
