The 48"W x 12"D x 48"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes three adjustable shelves with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The shelving supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and provides four-sided access to stored items. The heavy-duty frame is made of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double-riveted horizontal beams on every level that adjust in 1" increments. Double rivet button stud construction securely locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. The package includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
