The 36"W x 12"D x 120"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. This 3-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, and includes double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability. The heavy-duty frame has 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a stable joint that helps prevent back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for environments where cleanliness is essential, such as healthcare and food service. The pre-sized panels allow for seamless installation, and the open design provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. Shelves support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
