The 48"W x 12"D x 36"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for easy, tool-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 2-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams adjustable in 1" increments to accommodate a variety of storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that helps eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for industries where cleanliness is essential, such as healthcare and food service. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the shelving can support up to 800 lbs. per level when the weight is evenly distributed.
