The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems and connects easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration to create a continuous shelving system. It is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The unit includes a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, securing perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The shelving system has three adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and each level supports up to 800 lbs. evenly distributed. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the package includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
