The SC Preferred™ standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit measures 48"W x 18"D x 36"H and is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. This 2-shelf unit features a boltless design that assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint to help eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking, which wipes clean easily, making it ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The shelves support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
