The 48"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems with easy connection to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for continuous shelving across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 4-shelf unit features a boltless design allowing for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams at every level, adjustable in 1" increments to support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. Double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway and providing added stability. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation.
