The 48"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 3-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, adjusting in 1" increments to meet various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating stable joints that reduce back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is outfitted with Duradeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily and is suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The package includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and offers an open design allowing four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The unit connects easily to a coordinating starter unit for additional storage space.
