The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features seven adjustable shelves with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily. This boltless shelving system assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips and includes double-rivet beams on every level for added support and stability. The heavy-duty frame comprises 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs, securely locking perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, supporting up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. This unit is ideal for industries where cleanliness is essential, such as healthcare and food service, and it can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
