The 48"W x 24"D x 72"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed for expanding existing storage systems and connects easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration to create continuous shelving across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 3-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and provides four-sided access to stored items. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelves support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and the open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility.
