The 36"W x 12"D x 72"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit includes five adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The heavy-duty frame features 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams adjusting in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation. The shelving unit assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips and connects to a coordinating starter unit for additional storage space.
