The 48"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This three-shelf unit offers four-sided access to stored items and includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, and horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelving supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage. Pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation, and the open design ensures maximum flexibility for any industry where cleanliness is essential.
