The 48"W x 24"D x 60"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams that adjust in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. The unit has three adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications, and provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The shelves support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage. The package includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
