The 48"W x 24"D x 72"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design that allows for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 5-shelf unit provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility and includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers with double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that helps eliminate back and side sway. Adjustable shelves with DuraDeck non-porous decking can be positioned in 1" increments and wipe clean easily, making the unit suitable for healthcare and food service applications. It supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, and can be extended with add-on units to provide additional storage space.
