The 36"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is designed for practical, space-saving storage and organization. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 5-shelf unit features a boltless design that allows easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. It provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility and includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers. The heavy-duty frame is reinforced with double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, and the beams adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that helps eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with Duradeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making the unit ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The shelving supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
