The 48"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 5-shelf unit features a boltless design enabling quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams adjusting in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway for enhanced stability. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that cleans easily and is suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items, supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
