The SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit measures 72"W x 24"D x 84"H and is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. It features a boltless design that assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The unit includes four adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level, which adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating stable joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each shelf supports up to 800 lbs. when evenly distributed, and the unit can be expanded with add-on shelving for additional storage capacity.
