The 48"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 3-shelf unit offers four-sided access to stored items and includes heavy-duty 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, and a double rivet button stud construction that securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. Pre-sized panels allow for seamless installation, and the open design maximizes flexibility in accessing stored items.
