The 48"W x 18"D x 60"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick, hassle-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 4-shelf unit includes heavy-duty 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams adjusting in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with Duradeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. The unit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, and the assembly does not require nuts, bolts, or clips.
