The 48"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, and pre-sized panels for seamless installation. The shelving offers four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, with adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. This unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that minimizes back and side sway.
