The 48"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems with a 7-shelf configuration made from durable roll-formed steel and finished with a chip-resistant gray enamel. This boltless shelving connects to coordinating starter kits using a T-post configuration, enabling the creation of continuous shelving across multiple units. The unit features double-rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, and heavy-duty 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with beams adjustable in 1" increments to fit various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each shelf includes DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications where cleanliness is essential. The shelving supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, offers four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips.
