The SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit measures 48"W x 12"D x 84"H and is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 6-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams at every level for added support and stability, with shelves adjustable in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams securely into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each shelf includes DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelves support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and pre-sized panels ensure seamless installation.
