The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration, creating a continuous shelving system across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 7-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The shelving supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and pre-sized panels allow seamless installation.
