The 72"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration, creating a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-rivet horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, adjusting in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. It includes five adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The open design provides four-sided access to stored items, and the shelves support up to 600 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. This unit assembles easily without nuts, bolts, or clips and connects to a coordinating starter unit for additional storage space.
