The 48"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration, creating a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level, providing added support, stability, and adjustable shelving in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The unit has seven adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for industries requiring cleanliness such as healthcare and food service. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and each shelf supports up to 800 lbs. when evenly distributed. The kit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and connects to coordinating starter units for additional storage space.
