The 96"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a 3-shelf design that assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with Duradeck non-porous decking, which wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, supports up to 800 lbs. per shelf when evenly distributed, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. The kit includes the starter unit with pre-sized panels for seamless installation and carries the necessary certifications and compliance for industrial use.
