The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. This 5-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and heavy-duty double rivet beams on every level that adjust in 1" increments, supporting up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, enhancing stability and reducing back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck, a smooth, non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service industries where cleanliness is critical. The open design offers four-sided access to stored items and the shelving can be extended with add-on units for additional storage. The package includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
