The 96"W x 24"D x 36"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, the unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, with shelves adjustable in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams securely into corner posts, forming stable joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, offering a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. Pre-sized panels ensure seamless installation.
