The 48"W x 24"D x 72"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this five-shelf unit features a boltless design that assembles easily without nuts, bolts, or clips. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams on every level that adjust in 1" increments, supporting up to 800 lbs. per level evenly distributed. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams securely into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf features DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for industries requiring cleanliness such as healthcare and food service. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items, and the unit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, providing added support and stability throughout.
