The 48"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this six-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs, supporting up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The kit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and can connect to a coordinating starter unit for additional storage space.
