The 36"W x 18"D x 60"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 6-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which supports up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily and is ideal for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, have pre-sized panels for seamless installation, and the open design allows for four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space, making it suitable for industries where cleanliness is essential.
