The 36"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to coordinating commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for continuous shelving across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 7-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and four-sided access for flexibility. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. The rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the posts, forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, supporting up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily and is ideal for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, and pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items, making this unit suitable for industries where cleanliness is essential.
