The 36"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 6-shelf unit includes a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each shelf is adjustable in 1" increments and fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that is easily cleaned, suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The shelving supports up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, offers four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage.
