The 36"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a 7-shelf design with a boltless assembly that requires no nuts, bolts, or clips. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, single rivet horizontal beams on the middle shelf, and double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway and providing a stable joint. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The unit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
