The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features six adjustable shelves with Duradeck decking, which provides a smooth, non-porous surface that cleans easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams securely into the posts, minimizing back and side sway. Each shelf supports up to 300 lbs. when the load is evenly distributed and is adjustable at 1" increments. The open design offers four-sided access for maximum flexibility, while pre-sized panels ensure seamless installation.
