The 36"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes seven shelves supported by a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean and suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelving unit supports up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, with shelves that can be adjusted in 1" increments. Its open design allows four-sided access to stored items, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
