The 48"W x 18"D x 72"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a 6-shelf design with a boltless assembly for quick, hassle-free setup without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability and reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint to help eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjusts in 1" increments, is fitted with DuraDeck decking, offering a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The unit’s pre-sized panels allow for seamless installation, and its open design enables four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility.
