The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. This 6-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, providing four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. Pre-sized panels allow seamless installation, and the open design enables easy access from all sides. This starter unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
