The 48"W x 24"D x 72"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick and easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The 6-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability, while rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjusts in 1" increments, is fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that cleans easily and is ideal for healthcare and food service applications. This shelving unit allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space, making it suitable for any industry where cleanliness is essential.
