The 36"W x 12"D x 72"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a 6-shelf design with a boltless assembly requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming stable joints that reduce back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that easily wipes clean, making the unit suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The shelves support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments.
