The 36"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The unit includes six adjustable shelves supported by a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers. The top and bottom levels feature double rivet beams for added stability, while the middle shelf has single rivet beams providing reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each shelf is equipped with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelving supports up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, with shelves adjustable in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
