The 48"W x 12"D x 60"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features six shelves with a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that cleans easily and is suitable for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when the weight is evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The unit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
