The open sides and back allow light penetration and free air flow around stored materials, enabling visibility from either side. This 5-shelf metal shelving unit accommodates light parts, aerosols, heavier items like tools, and safety supplies, making it suitable for warehouse or commercial metal shelving applications. The shelving is finished with a powder coat paint for protection against everyday use. Each starter unit includes two beaded posts and two angle post uprights made from 14-gauge steel for added strength, with side and back sway braces constructed of 12-gauge steel to provide support and prevent lateral sway. The unit features 5 adjustable 20-gauge heavy-duty steel shelves with a patented box design providing extra strength in front and rear, lapped and welded corners for durability, and four shelf clips per shelf that install without tools on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers for easy height adjustment.
