The Lyon 8000 Series open steel shelving starter unit is designed to create additional vertical storage space with high visibility, allowing access and viewing from either side. It includes two upright assemblies, each made with durable hot-rolled 16-gauge steel T-post uprights and 12-gauge steel side braces, along with a 12-gauge cross brace on the back to prevent lateral sway, ensuring stability and support. The unit features five adjustable steel shelves available in 22-gauge medium-duty for small parts and light items, 20-gauge heavy-duty, or 18-gauge extra heavy-duty for heavier items like toolboxes and large parts. The patented box design of the shelves adds strength in the front and rear, with lapped and welded corners enhancing durability. Each shelf comes with four shelf clips that install without tools and can be adjusted in 1-1/2-inch vertical increments to customize shelf spacing. The steel shelving is finished with a powder coat paint to protect against everyday wear.
