Instantly create more vertical storage space with Lyon®'s 8000 series open steel shelving add-on unit, ideal for storing items where high visibility is a concern. This industrial open shelving allows visibility from either side, featuring five adjustable shelves suitable for light parts, aerosols, tools, safety supplies, and other heavier items. The tall shelving unit is suitable for warehouse or commercial use and has a powder coat paint finish for protection against everyday wear. Each add-on includes one upright assembly, composed of two T-post uprights made from durable hot-rolled 16-gauge steel, cross side braces made of 12-gauge steel, and a 12-gauge cross brace on the back to prevent lateral sway, providing support and stability. The five included shelves come with a choice of gauge: 22-gauge medium-duty shelves for small parts and lightweight items, 20-gauge heavy-duty, or 18-gauge extra heavy-duty for heavier objects like toolboxes and large parts. The patented box design of the shelves adds strength at both the front and rear, with lapped and welded corners for added durability. Each shelf includes four shelf clips that install without tools and can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers to accommodate changing storage needs. The 8000 series open steel shelving add-on ships unassembled. The product complies with applicable industrial metal shelving standards and Lyon® offers a limited warranty on the steel shelving components, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.
