Lyon's® rivet rack shelving starter is an economical medium-duty boltless racking system ideal for retail, commercial, or office storage needs, offering access to items from all sides with a durable powder coat finish in dove gray. The kit includes four 7-foot angle posts made of 14-gauge steel with keyhole slots on all four corners for holding beams in place; these angle posts are used for single free-standing racks or on outer corners when creating longer rows with add-on units. The shelving features 14-gauge medium-duty double rivet beams that slide into the keyhole slots to form rigid levels, each consisting of two width and two depth beams, with level spacing adjustable on 1-1/2-inch centers without tools. The rivet rack ships unassembled and assembles easily without tools, suitable to use alone or in combination with add-on sections to extend storage runs. Proper anchoring is strongly recommended using rivet rack shelving foot plates and wedge anchors, ensuring racks are installed plumb and level before securing to the floor or wall.
