Lyon's Rivet Rack shelving add-on is a medium-duty boltless racking system designed for various storage needs in retail, commercial, or office environments, providing access to items from all sides with a durable dove gray powder coat finish. The kit includes two 7-foot T-post uprights made of 14-gauge steel with keyhole slots to hold double rivet beams securely. These beams, also 14-gauge, feature a double rivet design for rigid assembly and added strength, with each level comprising two width beams and two depth beams adjustable on 1-1/2-inch centers. The beams install without tools, allowing for easy adjustment of level spacing as storage requirements change. The shelving ships unassembled but assembles easily without tools. Lyon recommends that storage racks be properly anchored using rivet rack shelving foot plates and wedge anchors to secure the posts to the floor, ensuring the racks are installed plumb and level before anchoring.
